Always present in children’s folktales, “oni” is a Japanese ogre, usually in bright colors of red, green, or blue. In the ‘80s, Sanrio also released an oni-inspired character called “Goropikadon”, who are three brothers (named Goro, Pika, and Don) born in the land of thunder.
