Daruma, daruma! Daruma is a traditional Japanese doll with a round shape and many facial expressions.  Some say the doll has an angry appearance, but it is actually a look of preservation and strength, as a daruma symbolizes the will to never give up. The various colors of each daruma also have different meanings.  This print is by well known stamp artist Maruichikyu.
