Come and enjoy an authentic Japanese bathhouse experience! What makes Kamogawayu-yu quite distinct from other bath houses in Kyoto are the colorful tiles! It was founded in 1926 and known for its green exterior with neon lights. Kamogawa means “wild duck river” which is the long stretch of river close to where the bath is located—hence the duck 🦆 association! Admission is 510 yen and is open until 1am (closed on Tuesdays).
