4legs is a family owned small business started by Japanese illustrator Harumi Nishimura and her crafstman husband, Yasuhiro. Focusing on woodcraft and paper goods, the couple live in the serene, small town of Komoro in Nagano Prefecture with their cat, Mister. They are both incredibly passionate with their craft and always connected with the beauty of nature in their environment. 4legs is also the creator of Kinokoneko (Mushroom Cat) which Paper Treats has been a passionate supporter for many years. 4legs made their first U.S. visit and exhibit at the 2024 San Francisco Pen Show hosted by Paper Treats, and will return once again in August 2026!
