"Spring will come again, people say; Yet I am heartsick." — translated excerpt from Spring Will Come Again by Japanese poet Chūya Nakahara (1907-1937) which was written after the heartbreaking death of his son. 

Nakahara wrote hundreds of profound poetry works during the early Shōwa era. His works of literature is now studied in schools across Japan and respected by many for the purity, sorrow and philosophical beauty in his writing.
