An icon of Japanese pop culture — illustrator Osamu Harada and his works defined cute in the showa era (period during 1926-1989). From his childhood, Osamu Harada loved painting and attended a graphic design school. In the ‘60s he continued his art studies by traveling to the United States, heavily influenced by American pop art. Even after his passing in 2016, Mr. Harada and his creative stamp of “Osamu Goods” continues to be celebrated and loved by fans.
